Modalities Offered at the Clinic:
- Swedish Massage - therapeutic and relaxing, most common/best known type of massage in the Western World. Also the foundation for most Western massage modalities, including sports massage and deep tissue
- Deep Tissue Massage - focuses on the deeper connective tissues and muscle groups, relieving much stress and pain
- Trigger Point Therapy - direct pressure is applied to painful, contractural knots/hyperirritable spots in muscles to release the knot and relieve the associated pain
- Reflexology - massaging and treating points in the hands and feet to benefit other parts of the body. Based on the belief that the ten zones of the body end on the hands and feet
- Reiki - ancient Japanese laying-on of hands healing technique that uses life force energy to calm and to heal by balancing our subtle energies physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
